First Pharrell Williams, now Wyclef Jean?!? Right after a great tour?! I would say that Cris Cab is absolutely killing it right now. He started to break through big time in 2011 with some huge covers, but it looks like 2012 is his year and he’s working with all the right people. His new project “Echo Boom” drops the last day of the month, and come back to GMAD tomorrow to find out how you can win 2 tickets to his release show! And if you want to guarantee to be in the building Jan 31, get tickets here

Real talented and business smart dude. That’s all I can say about Ryan Leslie. This is just his latest reward for a lucky fan (this time a twitter follower) to be able to come into the studio with him and watch him make a song. Fun to watch the whole song come together. If you are in a rush, skip to 2:45 into the video to watch Ryan Leslie make a fans dream come true.

ALL HANDS ON DECK.
This is going to be an indiegasm for the best of us. Sundance anyone?
Speechless
For those of you who have been following GMAD over the past 2 years probably know that my favorite all-around artist is Macklemore. The emotion he he can stir up in those who give his music a shot is unparalleled right now. I wish I could give this guy a huge pat on the back because he is finally starting to get what he deserves. Sold out tour. Nominated for XXL Freshman Class 2012 (VOTE FOR HIM HERE). And fans driving hours to get a glimpse of a true artist. Macklemore just released the 3rd episode to the tour, but to appreciate it you have to watch the 1st installment from the west coast: his home town. Episode #3
Good things come in 3s, right? Well in this case they do in the form of the three latest BTS video from the mammoth tour Mr. Carter & Mr. West are currently putting on throughout the nation. Word on the street is that this tour may be going global once the duo completes its US leg. I’m predicting we might see this tour come to an end at a very, very, very large music festival sometime next year. . . . .
Episode #4
Episode #5

The latest entry in Wiz’s new vlog series offers some concert footage of Mr. Rose performing his latest single off the upcoming soundtrack, Mac & Devin Go To High School.
Jody Duff, coming off of his highly successful tape What The Duff, releases another track to stay on the grind. This young MC goes in as usual and kills the track. “Marauder” brings a sick beat bumpin’ for a solid 3 minutes, and that paired with Jody’s flow makes for killer track. Also check out the video of Jody Duff above going to DePaul University’s radio for an interview (listen for the shout out to GMAD)! Vibe out to this track, stay on the lookout for this up and comer, and enjoy!
