“Purple Lightsabers is the first wide release from BRIT featuring 5 original songs accompanied by 5 original beats from Chase Windu. Months of work has been put into this project and we’re delighted to share it for free. All we ask is that You show it to a friend and share it on the social media networks you conduct yourself within. In this new age of music, the internet is the best friend we have. We thank you for supporting BRIT.”
Definitely download this brand new project from Nashville’s BRIT.
Here we have IanJ’s newest mixtape Happy Birthday! Sponsored by GoodMusicAllDay.com and FratMusic.com, this cover tape has IanJ going in over some of the best beats in the game right now along with some that you would never guess he would hit up. Below is the whole tape for stream and if you click the link you can grab the whole project for download. Also, before I go, here are some words from the artist himself…
Happy Birthday is a very special mix-tape for me because it represents a lot. As I continue to progress with my music, I’m working harder and harder to separate myself from others and create my own style. Happy Birthday not only symbolizes celebration and thankfulness for what I’ve accomplished so far, but it also shows that I am more than just a “rapper”. Happy Birthday was an incredible project to work on, and all I ask is that you enjoy the music and share it with all of your friends.
We’re as excited as you are. Take a break from your exams, have a beer or soda, and download this mixtape. Then go back to studying and put in your headphones. It’s perfect for the library or the party, so we’ve concluded it’s just perfect.
Our collaboration with SEA (simplysea.com), an apparel company that fundraises for non-profits, produced Siamese twins: a sick, custom SEA snapback that benefits the American Cancer Society and this “Be seen.” mixtape, an eclectic mix of unreleased tracks from some of the best in the business, up-and-comers and established artists alike.
This mix is just too sick. It’s SEA sick, if you don’t mind… We respect these artists as musicians and as people, and they all were more than down with supporting the cause. Find hip-hop, electronic, pop, jazz, rock, and others blended together like chicken and broccoli (or macaroni and cheese for those of you with less exotic tastes).
At the time of this release, these are unreleased tracks. And it’s free. Get them here first. And go support the artists and the cause.
After waiting a long time for this, Ground Up finally releases their INSANE mixtape entitled The Get Down. With the releases of the singles, the dope sponsors, and now with the final product, this mixtape definitely lives up to all the hype. As a sponsor of the tape we will be putting this post back up to the top later tonight when more traffic comes around but for now Ground Up wanted to make sure their fans got their new material as soon as possible. Definitely check this tape out – I’m sure you can find a track that you’ll be able to vibe to. Enjoy!
Here’s a new tape from Starky and to give you guys a lil taste of what it’s about is the man himself…
Thursday in Australia is a set of songs that I put together both over the summer and during my trip to Australia. I spent a week there to finish recording my next album, Thank You Starky, which is dropping October 20th!!! I’d describe TIA as a complete domination of the game, kinda like Shaq playing against a 3rd grader. I’d also like to personally thank Ryan Macgowan for helping this project come together by doing a majority of the production. Take a listen and enjoy.
Well, after releasing a promo and a music video, IanJ has really hyped up this new project and now we have the music to back it up. Releasing 8 insane tracks, this 17 year old talent shows that he’s been staying on his grind with his music with each improvement heard on this tape. On top of that, I had the honor of going to a studio session of his in Chicago at Force One Seven Studios and honestly, even from walking in hearing the rough cuts of tracks, I immediately knew that this is something everyone will want to jam to. If you’re doubting me at all right now I dare you to turn on either “The Break Up” or “Make My Move” and tell me you’re not jamming to it. Oh, and speaking of “Make My Move”, Sex Ray Vision teamed up with IanJ on this track to create this crazy party track that’s ready for this weekend. On top of that, every track is an original beat except “Pop Culture” which is an insanely dope sample of Florence and The Machine’s “Cosmic Love”. Enough of me talking about it though – stream the whole tape below and click the link to grab it. Enjoy!
Here’s Aziz newest mixtape entitled Daydreams of a Spaceshot. After a few technical difficulties it’s finally here for you all to enjoy. Packed with 14 banging tracks, DOAS is definitely something you’ll want to check out. We got the link to stream the whole tape, but make sure you check out three of my favorites from listening to it thus far. You’ve definitely heard the sample from “Loved You So” used by Cudi, but Aziz puts his own spin on it and turns the track into his own. Along with that is his collab with Tayyib Ali that throws off a super chill vibe and a beat that you can easily vibe to. The last of the three samples Regina Spektor’s “Hero” and paired with deep lyrics shows how Aziz has definitely spent his last 9 months planning something epic. By the way, check the interview below to even get a more in depth feel and understanding on what Aziz has been up to! With all that said, enjoy!
Along with DJBooth, GoodMusicAllDay.com is proud to sponsor the sophomore mixtape, Pop Rocks, from a very talented duo who began working together at DePauw University in Indiana, AudioDax. Picking up from their debut mixtape The Annexation, the duo of emcee (Krypton Flo) and singer/producer (Temble) combine the genres of hip-hop, pop, and alternative rock to create ear candy, or in this case, a fusion of sweet “pop rocks.” Other than the Mike Posner sample on their remix to “Cheated,” there is there are no samples throughout the project, and the duo controls the professional production, singing, and rapping on the tape, besides the pleasantly surprising feature from GMAD sposnored artist, OnCue. AudioDax is on their way to major success, and this mixtape deserves for a worldwide audience.
Update: Working download link. Sorry about the inconvenience.
GoodMusicAllDay.com presents to you another mixtape, and this time, we a proud to present a free mixtape titled $Free.99 from an alternative hip-hop band from Marietta, GA, Vonnegutt. This group comprised of Kyle Lucas, Neil Garrard, Patrick Postlewait, and Taylor White is signed by Big Boi (of OutKast) under Purple Ribbon Records. With features from a number of artists they respect like Big Boi, Hoodie Allen, Machine Gun Kelly, OnCue, Sonny Shotz (of The Dean’s List), 2AM Club, Mat Musto, Theo Martins, and many more, this is an unbelievable project full of originally produced songs, some of which are covers/remixes. Simon Illa cooks up most of the beats, and Kyle Lucas spits fire throughout the tape. Like Vonnegutt on facebook HERE, and do yourself a favor, and download this now!
Huey Mack is back with his latest effort, which features production from Xtraordinary Gentlemen, ID Labs’ Big Jerm, Brenton Duvall, Lexi Banks and more, as well as features from the likes of Young Scolla, Devin Miles, Collin McLoughlin, and more. This GoodMusicAllDay-approved project is meant to serve as a soundtrack to the journey through the college years: from “Orientation” to “Closing Time.” The man has certainly out done himself with this one. #Freshman15 Enjoy..
While they were making jokes, I was getting better.
Holy shit! Amazing free mixtape sponsored by GoodMusicAllDay.com
Aer brought the goods on their third project The Reach, which follows their second and impressive mixtape Water On The Moon. Anyway, the chill alternative/reggae/dub/acoustic/hip-hop duo of David von Mering and Carter Schultz of Wayland, MA take you on a trip full of eargasms. They fuse together relaxing and calming vocals with easy-listening completely self-made instrumentals with smooth guitar riffs and a mellow vibe on each track, urging you to get lost, gazing into the clouds, typically with a blunt lit. Make sure you listen and grab their recent songs “Story To Tell (Biggie Remix)” and “Easy” ft. Matt Easton because even though those are filthy songs, they do not appear on this mixtape. You will enjoy the feel they bring, and there are enough gems that I’ll just show you some of their singles and another fresh track.
Atlanta MC Donnis is back with his fourth full-length mixtape entitled Southern Lights, presented by Karmaloop & The Academy and mixed by Nick Cactchdubs. The former XXL Freshman from 2010 offers arguably his best collective piece of work to date. With features from XV, CyHi Da Prince, Dev, Young Dro, Gorilla Zoe, & more, as well as production from The Cataracs, Organized Noize, Syience, Needlz, & more, Southern Lights is an amazing piece of work, showcasing Ladonnis’s lyrical growth as an artist. It may only be April, but don’t be surprised if this tape ends up on some of the best of the year lists at the end of the year. At this point, I just highly recommend you download and enjoy.
Azar, Malakai, and Bij Lincs, better known as Ground Up, are back with their latest project, Up Late, hosted by DJ Don Cannon. Up Late features seventeen brand new, completely original tracks from the Philly trio, as well as features from Freeway, Peedi Crakk, and Devyn Rush. Although it features production from others beyond Bij, the mixtape stays true to Ground Up’s traditional sound, with impressive lyrical creativity over laid back beats. Ground Up paid careful attention to each and every bar and each and every drum kick on the project, while keeping in mind the project as a whole and each songs important to the mixtape as a whole. The title itself, Up Late, pays homage to the dedication and determination the group displays towards their craft of music, and in particular this project. Enjoy..
G-Eazy is not the average rapper. If I could give an award to someone who has used the most creative samples, I would give that award to G-Eazy. Most of the submissions I receive have songs samples today’s top 40 hits, but G-Eazy and his producers think outside the box with different sounds on each track. Nearly all produced by G-Eazy himself, with some production by DJ Carnage, dam funk, Mikey Fresh, and Swiss Chris, G-Eazy displays an amazing taste in music, as well as damn good lyrical talent and flow. G-Eazy is from Cali, but is studying at Loyola of New Orleans, so he has that laidback Cali sound, much like Loggy, but he’s more cultured in music and influenced by the fantastic offerings of the Big Easy with a taste of jazz/funk and indie on the tape, and does have a similar sound like another guy from the New Orleans area, Lil Wayne. You will find many chill songs with smooth rhymes and trippy instrumentals. Overall, this is one of those head-bobbing, body-moving lyrical tapes that you should get your hands on and indulge in fine verses and production, regardless of whether it is sponsored by GoodMusicAllDay.com

Wow. I’ll admit that i’ve always been a fan of Cam Meekins so i’ve said this about all three of his mixtapes at this point, but this is really the best yet. Two of Cam’s greatest strengths have always been beat selection and lyricism, only spitting what he knows which is not always easy when you’re only seventeen. 1993 highlights Cam’s strengths and downplays any weaknesses. It’s one of the most cliché ways to describe a tape/album, but to be honest, it really does have something for everyone. A re-work of one of my favorites from his first tape “My Baby”, a remix of Jason Mraz’s recent classic “I’m Yours” entitled “I’m Bored” produced by Jon Kilmer, and two tracks produced by Big Jerm of ID Labs out in Pittsburgh. Unlike other rappers right now who try to be something they’re not, Cam has found a style that’s perfect for him, so he’s embracing that and working to perfect it. Definitely proud to have GMAD sponsorship on this tape. Enjoy!
