While this isn’t technically free music, but paying only $3 for this 6 song album is basically like stealing it anyway. Radical Something (comprised of Loggy, Josh Cocktail, and Big Red) has been hard at work over the last couple months between traveling around the country and spreading their good vibes. This album is a perfect example of hard work paying off. The mastering, vocals, lyrics, and production are some of the best I have heard from a GMAD artist in the last year. This feels like a break-through album, and you’d be crazy not to spend the $3. Hit the jump for a more in-depth album review, or go straight to iTunes and listen for yourself. The guys were nice enough to allow GMAD fans to be able to preview one of the new songs, You Feel Amazing, as well.

The album starts off with You Feel Amazing which embodies the sound you have come to expect from these guys. Pretty simple beat but def a song to play at high volumes in your car so you can sing along at the top of your lungs. Th next track, Say Yes, brings a more indie-electro sound for them with occasional synths and a lil more upbeat production. Almost reminds me of their usual sound mixed with Chromeo a little bit. The album slows down a little with Acid Rain. This is a slow and trippy beat with awesome vocals from Josh on the hook and great verses from Loggy.
The second half of the album starts off with Valentine which was released on Valentine’s day. A different take on your normal Valentine song because it’s about cutting lose and moving on. If you haven’t seen the video, click the song title above. Vibe To This, which was released a week ago, is the next song and is arguably my favorite verses from Loggy and one of my top songs on the album. The album closes out with Waterfalls, which starts off with slow smooth vocals from Josh and transitions to a brief Loggy verse. Josh definitely shines on this track which Big Red did a great job producing.
