First Leak Off Up Late
Here we have the first offering from Ground Up’s forthcoming project, entitled Up Late, which drops in exactly one week. Azar and Malakai both deliver verses we’ve come to expect at this point, showcasing everything from creative metaphors to punchline flow, both drowning in lyricism. As for the production, Bij manages to create one of the most unique sounds I have ever heard, with a transcendent beat. I was fortunate enough to watch the fellas put the finishing touches on this song in the studio, so I know what I’m talking about when I say you really need to find yourself some nice speakers, turn them all the way up, and just zone out to fully enjoy the production on this on.
