Introducing Dave Patten

Well What Do We Have Here?

I can confidently say Dave Patten is nothing like anything I have posted before. These songs are not new, but I never got around to posting them so here they are.. Dave Patten entered my radar after his work with Meek Mill (one of the XXL Freshmen Cover Boys), after I was turned on to Meek by my good friend, Mickey. Although I wouldn’t normally be drawn to music such as Dave’s, which he describes as “acoustic and electric guitars, piano, drums, bass, synthesized horns and string parts,” I was very impressed with his latest project, Exposure. As for the music below, it features two songs Dave & Meek Mill did together, as well as some rap-less material from Dave’s most recent project, Exposure. There is more rapping on the project, courtesy of Fese, but I figured I’d give you a taste of everything/anything Dave has to offer. “Believe Me” isn’t on Exposure, but I included it in the .zip file of his entire album. You can head on over to Dave Patten’s website to grab all his albums/covers/whatnot.
