Happy anniversary Mr. Freestyle Friday!
One year ago to this day, e-dubble began freestyling every Friday, until today. This is the 53rd straight week without breaks that e-dubble released a song. “Robots Can’t Drink” samples e-dubble’s own song “Drinking With My Headphones On” from his album Hip Hop is Good. Anyhow, e-dubble has a nice flow, great samples, and great lyrics, but sometimes he goes overboard.
In other news, e-dubble’s song “Hampden Parks” (Freestyle Friday #7) is now featured on Aziz Ansari’s show “Parks and Recreation,” due to e-dubble happening to sample that theme song. Listen here and watch the new opening scene of “Parks and Recreation” after the jump.
