It may because D.veloped uses one of my favorite guitar riffs as the main melody (Rusted Root - Send Me on My Way) or that he adds an intoxicating electro ditty to it but “The Epic Rhythm” really is a track that I am sure you will find yourself listening to over and over again.  The vocals on this are pretty limited on this mix but it doesn’t hurt that out of the vocals he chooses, he uses some catchy ones from the great indie duo Cherub…. Enjoy!

North Carolina based DJ and producer, D.veloped, has been steadily growing into his own sound over the last couple years, as he continues to set himself apart from the traditional definition of a mashup artist. Among the plethora of tracks created by this promising young talent are vocal edits/mashups (i.e. “Breathe & “Levels“). For his latest track he ventures that route as he adds a vocal interpretation of Flosstradamus’ title track off their recent EP.

20 year old producer Michael White creates a nasty remix of the beautiful, chill track from Skrillex, which was refered to as “Breathe” before Skrillex unleashed the final, extended version called “Summit”, which features some vocals from Ellie Goulding. As a bonus, I found DJ D.Veloped’s mashup vocal mix of the song, too.
